Not everyone can attend college or a trade school. At I CAN 2 we train and employ people with disabilities for the career of their dreams. Our primary focus is on the discovery and development of each individuals' creativity, strengths, and passion for a career they would love and enjoy. EDUCATE
We educate people with disabilities in safety, production, and assembly of skill sets to produce quality, marketable products and services. A certificate will be earned upon completion and demonstration of competency.
EXPLORE
We explore various avenues of creativity and provide a person-centered approach to work through the discovery of unique desires, abilities, and talents. Current and future career offerings include:
Inspirational Art, Jewelry, Photography, Floral design, Woodworking, Cooking/bakery, Community garden, Technology, Laudry services, Animal Care, Church Ministry
EMPLOY
We employ disabled people by marketing their products and services through social media, Etsy, online store, craft and trade shows, farmers markets, and our local community store. A focus is also on providing a rich environment for the development of meaningful, supportive relationships. Skills will be taught relating to what it means to work as an individual, as a co-worker, and ultimately as a team.
EMPOWER
We empower people with disabilities to lead a more self directed life, gain independence, build relationships, lessen manage their money, and give back through volunteering within their local communities.
