Access panel for drywall ceiling – what works best?

I'm installing shut-off valves in the upstairs bathroom and need an access panel in the drywall ceiling below for easy reach. What's a good lightweight but durable option that won't sag over time? Preferably plastic and paintable.

Ceiling installations need something rigid yet not too heavy. I've used this access panel for drywall in a similar spot—it's ABS plastic with built-in reinforcement so it stays flat. The removable door gives plenty of room to work, and you can secure it with screws into joists if needed. Paint it to match the ceiling and it virtually disappears. Easy to cut in and finish with a bit of compound around the flange.
